Finance Traineeship ABN AMRO / Data Consultant / Corporate Recruiter (Junior)

As a Data Consultant, you collect, analyse and interpret data. This position requires a comprehensive set of skills. You need solid analytical skills, but you are also expected to be able to convey insights you gather from the data to management. As a Data Consultant, you will help the organisation you work in resolve complex issues and automate and optimise existing processes

What will you be doing?

  • Analysing and structuring data sources through the use of new technology;
  • Analysing various data sources to generate new insights and find patterns;
  • Creating and implementing technical solutions for various parts of the organisation (process optimisation and or automation);
  • You are involved in building and validating (predictive) models;
  • Helping to come up with technical solutions to data-related issues
  • Possibly coaching and training Junior Data Consultants

Here’s what you can count on

  • A gross monthly salary of between €3.500 and €4.500;
  • A learning path tailored to your situation;
  • 1-on-1 guidance and career counselling by a field manager;

  • A laptop and smartphone;
  • 22.5 days' leave based on a contract of 36 hours per week;
  • A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent employment contract on good performance in your first year;
  • Promotion opportunities to positions such as Senior Data Scientist, Data Modeller, of Data engineer or possibly even a managerial position.

Here’s what you bring to the table

  • A University Degree in Econometrics, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or similar. At least 2 years of experience in (predictive) analytics, machine learning techniques and/or data modelling;
  • Experience working in one or more programming languages, including SQL, Python, R or Scala, PySpark;
  • Knowledge of visualisation tools like Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI;
  • A good command of the Dutch and English language.
