Quality Assurance CDD

Combating money laundering and financial economic crime is becoming ever more important to financial institutions. A Quality Assurance CDD contributes to the management of customer integrity and helps prevent FEC and money laundering scandals. As a first-line controller, you will report findings to the relevant team leaders and managers. You advise on cause analyses and provide recommendations on how to improve, and this is what makes you indispensable to an organisation. We support and facilitate your growth both professionally and personally and in doing so, we regularly step outside of our comfort zone since this is where you experience the most growth. By working together, we’ll build on your knowledge, skills and experience, making sure we’re ready for what the future has to offer.

Important: Excellent command of the Dutch language is a requirement for this role.

Together with your colleagues, you will work to combat financial economic crime. You will conduct investigations into a client’s integrity and actions based on important signals and signs. These investigations are aimed at preventing money laundering, fraud or violations of sanction regulations, but also to signal a client's lack of integrity, which may damage the organisation's reputation. You will be responsible for updating and completing client files. You will also be responsible for quality monitoring, by checking that the analyses performed by the analysts are complete, accurate and consistent.

What will you be doing?

  • Assessing the quality of CCD reviews and thereby contributing to client integrity;|Advising colleagues and (senior) management;
  • Testing the way in which the organisation deals with risks and financial legislation and regulations (such as sanction regulations), and advising on how it can be improved;
  • Stimulating continuous improvement by working together with management to convert your findings into improvement plans;
  • Reporting on the quality of both the content and process of the first-line control together with other Quality Assurance Analysts;
  • Supporting and coaching new analysts.

  • A gross monthly salary of between €4.000 and €4.800|A learning path tailored to your situation

  • 22.5 days' leave based on a 36 hour-per-week contract
  • A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent employment contract on good performance in your first year.

Here’s what you bring to the table

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration; Law, or Economics
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of CDD with in-depth knowledge on the subject;
  • Relevant experience in a first-line or second-line audit position is a plus;
  • You have coaching skills and know how to help analysts perform good research;
  • You are well-versed in the business-economic aspects of banking services;
  • A good command of the Dutch and English language.
